The event was organized by undergraduate, graduate and engaged students of the preparatory department for foreign citizens from Syria who are currently studying at the university. This year, Syrian students studying at other universities in St. Petersburg participated in the celebration.
Holding Syria Day has already become a tradition. Each participant was welcomed with a cup of strong Syrian coffee. The organizers and hosts of the holiday introduced the audience to the history of this ancient state, its culture, nature and cuisine.
Everyone was amazed by the Syrian dance, in which everyone could take part. The event ended with an introduction to Syrian cuisine.
