The program of the business visit began on September 23 with a trip to the branch of SPbFTU ‒ Lissinsky training and experimental forestry. During the day the participants of the delegation visited the ecological trail, educational museum of the history of Russian forestry and educational building of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Forestry “Lisinsky Forest College” as well as the trial areas where students spend their internship.
On September 24 excursions to the Museum of Forest Entomology named after Prof. M.N. Rimsky-Korsakov and to the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology and Hunting named after A.A. Silantiev were held.
The program continued with a working meeting with the Rector I.A. Melnichuk, during which the participants discussed areas of future cooperation such as academic mobility programs for teachers and students as well as organizing of joint researches.
The meeting was attended by A. A. Dobrovolsky, Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities; N. V. Belyaeva, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities;
S. V. Tereshchenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department; A. S. Alekseev, Head of the Department of Forest Taxation, Forest Management and Geoinformation Systems; D. A. Danilov, Head of the Department of Soil Science and M.V. Kuzko, Head of the International Projects Unit. The discussion was lively and fruitful.
The event ended with the ceremonial signing of the agreement on the creation of a foreign base for innovative practice of the Northeast Forestry University in SPbFTU and the base of practice of SPbFTU in the Northeast Forestry University for masters and graduate students.
At the end of the working day the delegation visited the Botanical Garden of SPbFTU. Director of the Botanical Garden N.P. Adonina conducted a tour of the park and greenhouses and also made a proposal to create a garden of Chinese medicinal plants in order to promote and popularize them in the territory of the Russian Federation. The initiative was supported by representatives of the Chinese side.
On September 25 an international conference on academic exchange for students and teachers was held. As part of the event, representatives of the North-Eastern Forestry University spoke about their university and the main academic mobility programs.
At the end of the business visit there was a discussion of the Alliance of Russian-Chinese Universities of Forestry Education initiated by the Northeast Forestry University and SPbFTU. There was also a proposal to establish the Russian-Chinese Center for Study of Biodiversity of Northeast Asia.

The Parties recognized the importance of cooperation in the areas identified and agreed on concrete steps for their development.
