25th of December students of the Preparatory Department for foreign citizens at SPbFTU celebrated New Year.
The event was hosted by Father Frost (Amad Zibari, Head of Interclub) and Snow Maiden (Samia Merzouk, Specialist of International Projects Department).
During the evening the students presented creative performances and shared how the New Year usually goes in their countries. The guests learnt about the traditions of celebrations in Cameroon, Iran, Kurdistan, Tunisia, Mali, Pakistan and others.
The holiday concluded with a round dance around the Christmas tree, followed by and the handed out gifts to the students, teachers and the most active volunteers.
